On January 29, 2024, a meeting of representatives of the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Departments of the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, organized by the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) Academ.City, took place at the Kyiv Academic University.
The participants of the event were informed about the methodological documents of the IP Office, in particular, the Methodological Recommendations on Intellectual Property Policy for Higher Education and Scientific Institutions of Ukraine, about WIPO courses on intellectual property and patenting.
Colleagues are invited to participate in a permanent scientific seminar held by the UAC together with the Mamutov Institute of Economic and Legal Studies (twice a month, on Fridays from 15.00-16.00). The invitation and registration form are available on the website of the Kyiv Academic University.
A decision was made to create a database of services/products that can be offered by the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The participants of the meeting took part in a survey based on the questionnaire of the IP Office on problems in the field of innovation and technology transfer in order to amend the legislation of Ukraine to stimulate the development of the innovation ecosystem, taking into account problematic issues regarding contractual relations between institutes and business.
