Paton Institute of Electric Welding of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Metal Science and Heat Treatment of Metals), Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science of the Kyiv Polytechnic University.

The course of lectures METHODS OF STUDYING THE PROPERTIES, STRUCTURE AND COMPOSITION OF STEELS AND ALLOYS provides a comprehensive overview of methods for studying the chemical composition, structure and properties of steels and alloys, and includes the practical skills necessary to conduct laboratory research and analyze data. This knowledge will contribute to a deeper understanding of materials and prepare you to solve fundamental and practical problems in the field of modern materials science.

Physics, mathematics, crystal structure of metals and alloys, heat treatment of metals and alloys, methods of studying the properties of alloys.

The course is free of charge. After completing the course, all participants who complete the program and pass the test will receive certificates with ECTS credits (0.5 credits).
