Through the DAAD DIES partnerships, the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg together with the Ukrainian partners Kyiv Academic University and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv it is aimed at achieving two things. On the one hand, it is planned to expand the management structures of the Service Research and Technology Transfer Centre with the currently more regional focus on the science-economic and international cooperation to improve their internationalization profile. On the other hand, it is intended to expand its strategic partnerships in internationalization by integrating the technology transfer topic and to increase its visibility and attractiveness to all partners. Within the project, Kyiv Academic University: hosted 5 industry-specific meetups for scientists and business representatives; piloted an incubation course for startups - BIP2021, held the German Ukrainian Technology Transfer Internships University Program (GUTT.INUP)
