The signing of a memorandum between the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Kyiv City State Administration is the next step in the implementation of the Science and Technology Park "Academ.City" in Kyiv. This was agreed with representatives of the Kyiv Academic University and the German delegation during their joint visit to the KCSA. This was announced by the First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration on the exercise of self-government powers Oleksiy Kuleba on his Facebook page.
"I am sure that the creation of Academ.City will open wide horizons for the city. This project is more than about science. This is an impetus for Kyiv to involve wider segments of the population in the development of the city and to form an entrepreneurial culture in unison with technical innovations," commented Oleksiy Kuleba.
He thanked the team working directly on the project and stressed the full support of the city.
"The specialists who directly implement the project have vast experience and have attracted the best partners - the founders of one of the most successful science and technology parks in Germany, Adlershof. Kyiv, for its part, will facilitate the implementation of the capital's "Adlershof" and provide a platform on the basis of the Kyiv City Business Center, where scientists will be able to interact with entrepreneurs, implement innovative developments together and apply them in practice," said Oleksiy Kuleba.
During the meeting, the participants decided that the best format for cooperation of three important elements (theory / methodology, scientific approach, business environment) is the creation of a working group that will be minimally formalized, but most effective.
For reference.
"Adlershof is one of the most successful science and technology projects in Germany. On an area of more than 4.2 square kilometers, 1200 enterprises are based, 22 thousand people work and almost 6.5 thousand students study.
