Kyiv Academic University with the project “Academ.City Startup School - an innovative ecosystem for the development of academic startups of scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences” is the winner of the Ministry of Education and Science project to create startup schools - incubators - accelerators!

The Kyiv Academic University became one of the six winners of the project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine aimed at creating a network of startup schools - incubators - accelerators based on universities and research institutions. The National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy is a co-author and executive partner of the KAU in this project.

Participation in this program will enable the university, as part of the Academ.City project development, to strengthen the innovation infrastructure to support and develop startups in various fields of science and technology, to engage the potential of Ukrainian scientists to create and develop startups, especially in the field of deep tech technologies.

The project starts on November 1, with a preparatory stage until January. Then the school's activities begin and will last until March 31, 2026.

Program objective
The Startup Schools Project aims to support young innovators and startups, develop scientific and technical ideas into successful businesses, attract investors, and build strong business relationships.

The participation of the Kyiv Academic University in the project will allow:
- Attract funding for the implementation of innovative ideas;
- Provide consulting support at all stages of startup development;
- Provide access to modern research and office infrastructure.
