On 22.04.2024, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, with the support of the WEnnovate project, hosted a round table “Services and Innovation Ecosystem of the Digital Innovation Hub ‘KYIV HITEK’ in the field of energy”. The roundtable was attended by 17 invited scientists, specialists and partners of the digital innovation hubs Centre 4.0 DIH KPI and the Virtual Center for Digital Innovation NOSC-UA DIH of the Kyiv Academic University.
Participants presented their research and projects in the energy sector and discussed the provision of services for advanced energy technology development. Natalia Garashchenko presented the WEnnovate project as an opportunity to coordinate with other ecosystems in the field of energy digitalization.
Further cooperation is planned for the development of the Energy Competence Center in the ecosystem of the regional digital innovation hub “KYIV HITEK”. They discussed the role of the Kyiv High Tech hub as a participant in the innovative energy ecosystem and the WEnnovate energy transition plan. The formation of a portfolio of services that can be provided at the level of individual enterprises and communities, as well as the creation of a map of energy innovations and developments in the future, was identified as a direction of joint activities.
