On December 14, at the IP&I for Science and Business event, an expert jury announced the winners of the Lab2Market UA startup season.
One of the projects supported by Academ.City, namely the sBone project, presented by Ivan Gorbatenko, took the second place.
sBone is a project for the production of bioceramics that can restore bone tissue with antibacterial and oncoprotective parts. The result is complete homogeneity and full integration with native bone, avoiding the recurrence of cancer cells.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations. The synergy of science and business, development of innovations and commercialization of intellectual property rights were the main topics of the event.
During the discussion panel, the participants discussed the commercialization of scientific developments produced by scientists, creators, and innovators.
