We are pleased to share the results of the Incubation Program “BOOSTER OF INNOVATIVE PROJECTS - 2025” (spring session), which has become an important step in supporting and developing academic startups and innovation teams in Ukraine, and is also part of the project “ACADEMY.CITY STARTUP SCHOOL - INNOVATIVE ECOSYSTEM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACADEMIC START-UPS OF THE NAS OF UKRAINE”.
During the program, from April 28 to June 13, 2025, 69 participants from more than 39 scientific, educational and business institutions from different regions of Ukraine gained valuable experience in preparing business presentations, conducting market research and financial planning.
The event included 7 online trainings, 34 consultations, and a demo day with online pitches by 18 teams that prepared high-quality visualizations of their projects and demonstrated the skills acquired during the program.
Researchers from the Franzevych Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Bukovinian State Medical University, G.V. Kurdyumov Institute of Metallophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the Institute of Physics and Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine joined the program. Kurdyumov Institute of Metallophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Research Institute of Legal Support of Innovative Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Research Center for Industrial Development Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, E.O. Paton Institute of Electric Welding of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, O.O. Chuik Institute of Surface Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and other institutes and universities.
During participation in the program, inter-team (interdisciplinary) connections were formed that can become the basis for launching new international research and innovation projects.

The consultations and trainings were conducted by leading experts from the Academia.City project, the Kyiv Academic University, the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and the Kyiv School of Economics, who specialize in managing innovative projects, research and development, and preparing grant applications and pitch presentations.
The participants of the demo day received certificates of advanced training.

The program was implemented within the framework of a pilot project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with the Innovation Development Fund to create a network of startup schools - incubators - accelerators based on higher education and research institutions.
