Deep Tech Skills Days Warsaw

On November 12 - 13, 2024, the flagship event of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative took place in Warsaw, Poland, bringing together educators, researchers, and professionals who are committed to advancing high-tech education in Europe.


Representatives of the Kyiv Academic University and Academ.City participated in in-depth discussions, exchanged best practices, and established new partnerships with like-minded people who also strive to shape the future of education in the field of high technology.

We are thrilled to announce that Kyiv Academic University has been recognised as one of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative's 2024 Trainers of the Year! 

Our team is proud to have won the first place in the Universities category of the Trainer of the Year 2024. This award recognizes our commitment to training deep tech skills and underscores our dedication to empowering the next generation of talent as we have successfully trained 1879 talents in deep tech areas - AI and ML for advanced materials and manufacturing from January 2023 to June 2024.

We are proud to be part of the EIT Deep Tech Talent's Pledger Community and will continue to work towards our common goal of training 1 million people in deep tech by 2025!

We maintained contacts with existing partners - Deep Tech Talent Initiative team, Lubko Matsekh (Eleks, 4InnoPipe Consortium), Kristina Baghiu (Digital Innovation Zone).

  2. Anna Góretska, Wroclaw Tech Incubator - holding joint sessions during the CloudEARTHi conference in June 2025.
  3. Michał Olszewski - representative of Funding box.
  4. Marcin Czyża, Coalition for Polish Innovation, also has an eDIH project and is interested in cooperation with the NOSC-UA Hub (Virtual Center for Digital Science and Innovation)
  5. Linda Ferro, EIT Manufacturing Academy. They are interested in cooperating with our teachers to expand their course catalog, as the customer demand exceeds their current offer. They are particularly interested in topics related to the latest materials.
  6. Anton Adamovitch, Commercialization Reactor. Anton Adamovitch made an interesting presentation on “Commercialization of your intellectual property (layers, strategies, tactics) - development of the commercialization friendly IP property. He spoke about the decomposition of technologies, the risks of patenting for the further creation of spin-offs.
