On September 05, 2023, at 14.00, a meeting of the Academ.City Science Park working group, established by the Resolution of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine No. 329 of 02.11.2022, was held. Representatives of the Kyiv Academic University and scientists from the Academ.City Scientific Cooperation Association institutes also joined the meeting.
The following issues were considered on the agenda:
1. Presentation and discussion of the concept of Academ.City Science Park development.
2. Information message about the planned stakeholder survey on the Academ.City project.
3. The list of activities of the city target program for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on the creation of the Academ.City Science Park between the Kyiv City Military Administration and the National Academy of Sciences.
Representatives of the working group lively discussed the draft concept of Academ.City Science Park development and identified elements that need to be finalized. They also focused on possible scenarios of interaction between the science park and scientific institutes of the Academgorodok area.
The participants of the meeting approved the developed plan for a stakeholder survey on the Academ.City project. A proposal was also made to communicate with existing European science parks to find out their opinion on the creation of the Academ.City science park.
Following the meeting, the participants decided to:
Finalize certain elements of the Academ.City Science Park development concept in accordance with the proposals made during the discussion.
More actively involve scientists from the institutes of the future science park in solving specific tasks for the development of the science park.
Start working on the Statute of the Academ.City Science Park. Create a relevant working subgroup.
