We invite you to take part in a series of meetups and a workshop dedicated to the development of the concept of the Academ.City Science Park innovation hub! The event is organized on the initiative and with the support of the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) within the framework of the City Target Program for Promoting the Development of Industry, Entrepreneurship and the Consumer Market for 2024-2025. The event is organized by the innovation hub for cities SYNCHRO SPACE.

Program of events:

September 10, 14:00-17:00: Opening of the meetup series. Introductory lectures on the history of Academ.City and other science parks in the world, discussion of the needs and expectations of scientists regarding the infrastructure for their development.
September 12, 14:00-17:00: Discussion on the model of interaction between scientists, business, and the city, needs and expectations from business, city administration, and the community.
September 17, 14:00-17:00: Discussion of environmental aspects and urban approaches to building an innovation hub.
September 19, 14:00-17:00: Discussion on administrative and economic issues of the innovation hub.
All 4 meetups are meetings with experts, presentations on topics and facilitated discussions to develop insights for further development of the innovation hub concept. The meetups will be followed by a workshop, to which we invite specialists from various fields (IT developers, architects, engineers, environmental designers, urbanists, economists), local authorities, representatives of the Academ.City Association, the scientific community of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and other stakeholders.
September 25, 11:00-18:00: The culminating workshop, where participants will combine all the achievements of the meetups into a single strategic concept for the development of the hub. You will have the opportunity to develop the concept in consultation with experienced mentors and become part of the developers and creators of a powerful innovation hub.
