On November 20, 2024, the KCSA will host the graduation day of the City Accelerator acceleration program, which is being implemented by ISE Corporate Accelerator at the request of the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) with the support of the Kyiv Academic University (KAU) and the Academ.City project.
The City Accelerator is a program of cooperation between startups and municipal enterprises of the capital to find modern technological solutions to solve the current problems of Kyiv municipal institutions.
The City Accelerator is one of the measures of the City Target Program for Promoting the Development of Industry, Entrepreneurship and the Consumer Market for 2024-2025, approved by the decision of the Kyiv City Council of December 07, 2023 No. 7510/7551, and work is underway to organize a city corporate accelerator.
This year, it is a pilot project, the main task of which is to develop the architecture of a city corporate accelerator of innovative activities with a set of services and activities focused on solving innovative problems of development of enterprises in which the territorial community of Kyiv owns a share.
According to the Director of ISE Group and Head of the City Accelerator program : “The practice of creating city accelerators is extremely successful in the United States, Israel and Europe. We have created a program where startups will be able to establish partnerships with utility companies, which will be mutually beneficial for both parties. For startups, it's a chance to find their first customers and make a big pilot with the city.”

As part of the project, a Demo Day is planned.
The Demo Day is a one-day event that will present the concept of an urban corporate accelerator, highlight international experience in organizing the creation and operation of similar accelerators, and host a startup competition.
The topics of the Demo Day include energy efficiency, energy saving, municipal utilities and services, environmental initiatives, transportation and mobility, digital services, optimization of management and finance, digital transformation, and smart city infrastructure management.
