Urban Hackathon Kyiv #1: Creating Solutions for the Future of the Capital!

Are you ready to take part in creating solutions that will change the face of Kyiv? Industrial Hackathon Kyiv #1 is a unique opportunity for scientists, startups, and entrepreneurs to propose innovative ideas to address the capital's key challenges in the areas of transport, infrastructure, and sustainable development.

The event was organized on the initiative and with the support of the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the Kyiv City Council (KCSA) in cooperation with the Kyiv Academic University and Academ.City Science Park. The organizer of the Industrial Hackathon is the innovation hub for cities SYNCHRO SPACE.

The main tasks of the Hackathon are:

1. Transport and mobility:
Development of a traffic monitoring system to reduce congestion and improve public transport.

2. Smart infrastructure management:
Solutions for efficient management of city resources, including energy and water supply.

3. Ecology and sustainable development:
Integrating technologies to reduce emissions, improve waste collection and manage natural resources through a municipal geographic information system (GIS).

Opportunities for participants:

Work in a team with leading experts and mentors.
Present your solutions and get a chance to get into the ISE Group's City Accelerator.
Get support for piloting your solutions in the real conditions of Kyiv.
Realize your ideas in cooperation with the KCSA!

October 25, 2024:
Hackathon opening, lectures from experts
Setting tasks and starting work on projects

October 24, 2024:
Finalization of projects, presentations to the jury, and selection of solutions for piloting together with the KCSA and city enterprises.
