Course Overview 

Systemic challenges - like climate change, social justice and inequality - can’t be  solved with traditional problem-solving methods. This course builds your ability to lead  change in complex systems such as the Higher Education sector. Through real world challenges, eLearning and peer learning, you’ll gain tools, mindset shifts and practices  to support collaborative innovation and transformation in your day-to-day work.

  • Use systems innovation tools in real-world challenges 
  • Build soft skills like perception, communication and trust 
  • Design and manage collaborative innovation projects 
  • Understand ecosystem actors and co-create solutions 

Blended Delivery 

  • Access to brand new eLearning modules full of practical learning activities and  resources including checklists, tools and Higher Education sector examples Live sessions bringing the theory to life, expect lots of interaction through  discussions and group learning. 
  • Practice Pods – participants work in small groups supporting each other on  progressing their individual challenges 
  • Optional in-person workshop to build engagement, align expectations, work  on real-world challenges. Taking place in Copenhagen on October 21-23.  Limited spaces available.

Who is this training for? 

The course has been designed for EIT Higher Education Initiative ecosystem players,  internal and external, no pre-requisite knowledge needed. It is open to all cohorts and  includes: 

  • Educators, researchers, tech transfer staff, leadership and external ecosystem  actors (from companies, NGOs and public bodies) 
  • Change agents: early adopters, innovators, and transformative leaders. 

***For Cohort 4 projects costs are eligible against your 2025 project budget*** If you work across multiple stakeholders and want to explore new ideas on  how to facilitate innovation and collaboration this training is for you!

Meet your facilitator 

Leading the training will be Karolina Iwa Senior Learning Facilitator at Climate  KIC, bringing her huge amount of experience supporting systems and individuals in  societal transformation and complex challenges. She’s a member of many global OD  communities driving positive change in the world. Co-Founder of Leadership Festival 

- a collective effort committed to co-emerging the new paradigm(s) of leadership.  Member of Global Team of the Presencing Institute. Researcher & book author in the  field of functional creativity.
