The EU4Business program, funded by the European Union and the German government, provides grants of up to EUR 10,000 to micro, small or medium-sized Ukrainian companies, including those that implement innovations that:
- have been officially registered in Ukraine for more than three years;
- have an LLC, PE or other legal entity;
- operate in the government-controlled territory of Ukraine;
- operate in the following sectors:
- Manufacturing (machine building, furniture, food and light industry, etc.)
- Creative industries (except for the IT sector);
- Logistics and transportation;
- Other sectors not mentioned above with export or innovation potential (e.g., educational and medical services, etc.).
You have the opportunity to
- patent developments,
- test new products,
- share this information with customers who have evacuated to another city,
- conduct the necessary research on marketing and business models, exports, intellectual property, etc,
- conduct testing of developments, certification, registration of intellectual property rights, etc.
- Half of the grant can be spent on equipment.
Eligibility criteria for applicants
- The applicant may not be registered as an individual entrepreneur (IE), as well as a state or municipal enterprise, public or private joint stock company, charitable foundation or public organization.
- The applicant must be registered as a legal entity (LLC, PE, etc.).
- The company must be registered before January 01, 2021 in Ukraine.
- The business must be conducting or resuming business activities at the time of application.
- Business size. The applicant is a micro, small or medium-sized business entity as of the date of application in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
- Applicants operate in the sectors specified in the requirements above.
- Territory of operation. The applicant as of the date of application for the grant:
○ is not located and does not operate in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine
○ does not operate and has no subsidiaries in the Russian Federation and/or Belarus
○ does not operate in countries included in the sanctions lists.
