Mohyla Open Hackathon “BE FIRST: Future of Innovation, Resilience, Security, Technology”

You definitely have an idea that can change humanity!


The Kyiv Academic University and the Department of Marketing and Business Management and the Center for Sustainable Development Analytics and Business Modeling of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) invites initiative young people to take part in the Mohyla Open Hackathon “BE FIRST: Future of Innovation, Resilience, Security, Technology” under the slogan ”Ideas without Borders: Generate, Act, Be!”

We are waiting for your projects in the following areas:

  • security and responses to the challenges of a changing world;
  • European Green Deal and green transformation;
  • sustainable industry and sustainable mobility;
  • digital innovation and artificial intelligence;
  • post-war recovery.


For whom: young people up to 35 years old (students obtaining a bachelor's, master's or PhD degrees, other young innovators/entrepreneurs)
Participation format: teams of 4-5 people.
Dates of the final: November 7-8.
Duration: 2 days (one online and one offline)

Address of the event: on the basis of the library of the Bogomolets Medical University, (8.10.2024, time: 13.00 - 17.00)

Generate, act, be with us at the Mohyla Open Hackathon “BE FIRST”! 2024

To participate in the Mohyla Open Hackathon “BE FIRST” you need to:

1. Prepare a project that proposes a practical solution or business idea in one of the priority areas:
- security and responses to the challenges of a changing world
- European Green Deal and green transformation;
- maintaining health and improving quality of life;
- sustainable industry and sustainable mobility;
- digital innovations and artificial intelligence;
- post-war recovery.
2. By November 3, 2024, form a team of like-minded people of 4-5 people and register it by following the link. When registering, you will need to add
a brief description of the idea (up to 1000 words) and a video presentation of the team (up to 3 minutes).
3. Present the project during the event on November 7, 2024 (offline) or November 8, 2024 (online).

The projects and presentations of the teams will be evaluated by the Jury, which includes
representatives of companies from the real sector of the economy.
The winners who take 1st to 3rd place will receive an award.
