Kyiv Academic University invites participants to the Academ.City Open Innovation Forum, which will bring together the academic community, representatives of business, government, national and international organizations, and civil society.
The aim of the forum is to summarize the progress in building the Academ.City open innovation ecosystem and outline future development directions to strengthen the role of science in Ukraine’s post-war recovery and economic modernization.
The program includes a roundtable, panel discussions, a pitching session of academic startups, and demonstrations of innovative developments and technological solutions. The event will open with a plenary roundtable “Building Open Innovation Ecosystems”, followed by two parallel streams: the discussion panel “Technology Transfer and Research Infrastructures” and the pitching session “From Lab to Market.” The Forum will conclude with a joint panel “Practices of Commercialization and Funding of Scientific Activity.”

The event is organized as part of the research projects EIT HEI “Knowledge Rise,” “4InnoPipe2,” and the experimental project “Academ.City Startup School” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with the Innovation Development Fund, aimed at establishing a network of startup schools, incubators, and accelerators at universities and research institutions.
