Final Report on the Program for Supporting Student Research and Innovation Projects and Startups

On May 20, at 16.00, the final report (pitch presentation) of student projects under the Student Research and Innovation Projects and Startups Support Program of the KAU Innovation Center will be held at the Educational and Scientific Space of the Kyiv Academic University.

This program was launched on February 20, 2024, with the support of the project “Strengthening innovation communications for influential universities 4InnoPipe” of the European Institute of Technology for Higher Education (EIT HEI) and Noosphere Engineering School.

The program aims to help student teams understand the peculiarities of implementing scientific and technical developments, forming startup projects and promoting their developments to production; provide support in creating prototypes and preparing pitch presentations. The final pitching will feature 4 student projects:

I. Project “Investigation of the parameters of the printing process by robocasting on the quality of the product”:

Project manager - Vladyslav Yuriyovych Naumenko; second-year master's student of the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science of the Kyiv Polytechnic University, acting leading engineer of the Franzevich Institute of Materials Science Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

scientific consultant of the project: Ostap Bronislavovych Zgalat-Lozynskyi, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of the Franzevich Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

II. New Battery GENeration (NBG) project:

Project Manager - Olha Vlasiuk, second-year student of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biotechnology of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”;

Scientific consultant of the project: Serhii Mykolaiovych Perepelytsia, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Senior Researcher, Director of the Bogolyubov Institute of Theoretical Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

III. Project “Auxetic structures in medicine”:

Project Manager - Vladyslav Naumenko; second-year master's student of the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science of the Kyiv Polytechnic University, acting leading engineer of the Franzevich Institute of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

scientific consultant of the project: Ostap Bronislavovych Zgalat-Lozynskyi, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of the Franzevich Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

IV. The project “ExactOptiRoute”:

Project Manager - Mykola Korabliov; first-year master's student at the Department of Mathematics of the Kyiv Academic University, software engineer of the 1st category of the Department of Non-Smooth Optimization Methods of the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

scientific consultant of the project - Petro Stetsiuk, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Senior Researcher, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Non-Smooth Optimization Methods of the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
